Working at Kindred Minds
Kindred Minds is a neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed practice built with intention. We actively support both neurodivergent clients and team members, and we welcome different communication styles, processing speeds, and work approaches. Masking is not an expectation here.
Clear systems, direct communication, and mutual respect are foundational to our team culture. We believe thoughtful structure and compassion can coexist — and that sustainable work supports meaningful care.
-
A supportive, values-aligned work environment
Clear onboarding, training, and written workflows
Flexible scheduling where possible
The opportunity to grow alongside a small, intentional practice
Work that directly supports accessible and ethical mental health care
Because we are still growing, there is room to contribute to shaping systems and processes over time. If you appreciate steady, intentional growth rather than fast expansion, you may feel at home here.
-
Kindred Minds is an equal opportunity employer. We actively encourage applications from individuals who hold marginalized identities, including people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, disabled and neurodivergent individuals, and those from historically underrepresented backgrounds in mental health settings.
We value lived experience, multiple ways of knowing, and perspectives that reflect the communities we serve. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or veteran status.

Accommodations may include:
Alternative application formats
Written interview questions provided in advance
Extended time for interviews or tasks
Sensory-considerate interview environments
